Data Deletion

1.1 Dream Engine Ventures LLC ("we", "our", or "us") respects your right to request deletion of personal information we hold about you. This page explains who can request deletion, what we delete, what is retained for legitimate business reasons, and how long the process takes.

1.2 Cosmic Crate is a business-to-business ("B2B") cloud-based logistics platform, meaning user accounts are typically created and managed in connection with an employing customer organization ("Subscriber"). Both individual users and Subscribers may initiate deletion requests, as set out below.

1.3 This deletion process applies to the Cosmic Crate Service and supplements the rights described in our Privacy Policy.

2.1 The user. Any driver, warehouse staff, or office staff member with an active or inactive Cosmic Crate account may request deletion of their own account and associated personal information.

2.2 An employer admin. An authorized administrator at the Subscriber organization that employed the user may request deletion on behalf of a former or current user where permitted by applicable law and the relevant employment relationship.

2.3 We will verify the identity of the requester before processing any deletion request. Verification typically takes up to 72 hours.

3.1 Profile information — name, email address, phone number, profile photo, and any emergency contact details.

3.2 Login credentials — password hash, authentication tokens, password reset tokens, and biometric login pairings (Face ID / fingerprint).

3.3 Personally-identifiable user record fields — employee ID, role assignments, and personal preferences tied to your individual user record.

3.4 Device identifiers — push notification tokens and device-level identifiers associated with your account.

4.1 Certain records associated with the work performed by a user are retained by the Subscriber organization that employed the user, because that organization — not the individual user — is the owner and controller of those records.

4.2 When a user account is deleted, we remove the user's profile information (name, email, phone, login credentials). Delivery records and customer interactions performed by that user are retained by the customer organization that employed the user, as required for business operations and regulatory recordkeeping. Aggregated or de-identified data may also be retained.

4.3 Retained records may include delivery logs, route history, proof-of-delivery photos, customer interaction records, and audit trails. These are retained for legitimate purposes including tax compliance, audit, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, and other regulatory recordkeeping requirements.

5.1 Most deletion requests are completed within 30 days of identity verification.

6.1 Email privacy@cosmiccrate.app with the email address associated with your Cosmic Crate account and, if applicable, the name of your employing organization. We will reply within 72 hours to verify your identity.
